THE MULBERRY SUITE

Terracotta walls decorate this sumptuous suite, in which period antique furniture evokes a feeling of past meeting present

The Mulberry Suite is tastefully decorated with original antique furniture contrasting with brilliant terracotta wall paint, applied with a traditional scumble glaze technique. Once located in Ardgowan House, Scotland, and gifted to James' parents, the double bed frame dates back to the 17th century. The room boasts a wonderful view onto the south-side of the house, with its ancient Spanish olive trees, and the private lake and forest beyond. It has access to one of the house turrets, and a small set of steps leads into the large ensuite bathroom.
