Auberge du Vieux Puits
Run by Gilles Goujou, the Auberge du Vieux Puits has three Michelin stars, and has been described as displaying some of the most sophisticated cuisine in France.
Château de Cavanac
A truly French gastronomic experience and a personal favourite of ours, the Château's restaurant serves great food and wine in reconverted horse stables.
The Comte Roger restaurant, located in the citadel, serves good traditional French cuisine. The cassoulet is excellent and the duck is a must-try.
At the Domaine d’Auriac you will also find Bernard Rigaudis’ gastronomic restaurant, which has held a Michelin star for 34 years. The restaurant offers traditional and regional cuisine, boasting delicious meats, game, and line-caught fish.
Domaine d'Auriac: Le Bistrot
In addition to its main restaurant, adjoining the Domaine's golf course you will also find its charming bistrot. The bistrot offers great-value traditional French food, and serves as the 19th hole if you spent the afternoon playing golf!
Hôtel de la Cité: Barbacane
In the citadel itself is the Hôtel de la Cité and its Barbacane restaurant, which has recently reacquired its Michelin star. Chefs Jérôme Ryon and Régis Chanel offer a wide range of tempting dishes, created with imagination, flair, and artistry.
Restaurant du Parc
Located at the foot of the Carcassonne citadel and only a 15 min drive from the house is one of the most famous restaurants of the region, the Restaurant du Parc. Its head chef Franck Putelat serves very inventive and excellent food.
