With its eight bedrooms, seven of which have very large private bathrooms, the main house very comfortably sleeps 16 guests. and for larger groups, a further 6 guests can stay in the adjoining cottage (see our booking offers for our different rental packages). The rooms are nearly all very spacious and bright and have stone floors or old terracotta tiles with thick walls, so the house remains cool during the summer. Beautifully restored in traditional Provençal style, the house is tastefully decorated throughout with an elegant collection of Georgian, Victorian, and French Empire antique furniture, along with landscape oil paintings and inherited family portraits, collected over the years by James and Phillipa.
The large main kitchen and back kitchen are particularly well equipped, including a professional French Château Cornue cooker, a large stone fireplace that doubles as a barbecue, and a long kitchen table seating 16. Next door is the dining room and two very spacious drawing rooms, each with ample seating and a fireplace. One of the drawing rooms converts into a cinema room connected to surround-sound speakers and directly linked via the DVD/CD player and games console to the HiFi and in-house WiFi system, which extends throughout the entire house.
