Domaine de la Vène has always been a place where people come together. Since James and his family began opening the estate to guests, it has hosted everything from milestone birthdays and anniversary celebrations to family reunions and destination weddings. The combination of a large, beautifully furnished house, generous grounds, a private pool, and complete seclusion makes it naturally well suited to private celebrations of all kinds.

Weddings
Weddings at Domaine de la Vène are entirely bespoke, and built around a four-night stay. The estate sleeps twenty-two guests, the barn holds up to eighty, and the grounds can host a celebration for up to one hundred people.

Milestone Birthdays & Anniversaries
The estate works particularly well for landmark celebrations that bring together your closest people for several days. The long dining table, the outdoor terrace, and the barn offer different settings for different styles of celebration.

Family Gatherings
With eleven bedrooms sleeping twenty-two guests across the main house and Bergerie Cottage, the domaine is well suited to multi-generational family gatherings. The pool, the grounds, and the easy pace of life in the Corbières ensure a restful and memorable stay.

What to know before you enquire
Minimum Stay
There is a three night minimum stay throughout the year, with a four-night minimum in July and August.
Alimentation et boissons
Self-catering, private chef, or a combination - it’s entirely up to you. We are happy to make recommendations based on your requirements.
Exclusive Use
Every booking is on an exclusive-use basis. The house, the grounds, the pool, and the terraces are yours for the duration of your stay.
Well Connected, Wonderfully Remote
Only twenty minutes from Carcassonne Airport and an hour from the Mediterranean, but far away enough to feel completely at peace.
